The name Vorna Valley is adapted from the name of the town in which the founder of Galaunia Farms, Mr. Abe Galaun was born.

The promoters, Meanwood Property Development Corporation Limited and Galaunia Farms Limited are now pleased to offer 1,000 plots ranging in size from 1,000 square metres to 4,000 square metres in this high cost
superior residential development.

Vorna Valley is located East of Lusaka and can be accessed from two directions. Proceed from Town Centre along the Great East Road and either turn left at NRDC immediately after Caltex Filling Station and proceed for 9km or take the airport road and pass through Ndeke Village. (See location map).

The area will have elegant high quality houses similar to Kabulonga, Sunningdale, Chudleigh and Roma. Buyers of the plots will be required to build quality three to four bedroomed houses, master ensuite. House floor size allowed will be from 150 square metres, depending on the plot size.

Prospective plot buyers should complete and submit application forms. Promoters will evaluate application forms and issue offer letters to all successful applicants. The successful applicants can then pay for the plot (s) as per terms of the offer letters.

There are three significant sizes of plots but plot sizes do vary and are priced according to size and location. Typical prices are as follows:

- 1,000 square meters (¼ acre) - K 25 million
- 2,000 square meters (½ acre) - K 48 million
- 4,000 square meters (1 acre) - K 85 million

Prospective buyers preferring bigger plots may buy and amalgamate/merge adjoining plots.

Full payment is required at the time of purchase.

The promoters do not give mortgages or loans. Prospective buyers are therefore expected to raise finances on
their own through loans from their employers, commercial banks and building societies. However, for the
financing of plots, prospective buyers are free to approach Meanwood Finance Corporation Limited (MFC),
whose finance scheme offers up to 3 (three) years payment terms subject to a deposit of 20% of the purchase
th price. MFC are located on the 4 Floor of Design House on Cairo Road and in the Meanwood Sales Office in
Church House.
